Are you ready for another fun filled Karaoke get together? The last one in November was a blast. You gotta come out to this one. Here's the logistics.
Castle HS Class of 1981 Karaoke Get Together, Friday, March 26th, 5:00 PM at Akoni's Bar & Grill. Cost is $10 $11 (the cost went up, sorry) per person (alumni or guests) for the pupus. Are you ready for a pre 30th class reunion get together??? We are!!! Our pre 30th class reunion committee has put together a golf tournament at Pearl Country Club and a Karaoke outing at Akoni’s Bar & Grill on Friday, November 6th. The pre-reunion committee is being led by Mr. Bryan Marciel, Derek Koki, Raylette (Koki) Dacosin and Martin Tadlas…………..Mahalo committee.
Golf Tournament
We have 6 tee-times reserved (24 golfers) with the 1st tee time going out at 9:44 am. The games will be the standard “closes to the pin” on the par 3’s and overall low net score so turn in your handicaps (honest handicaps……..lol). Please contact Martin Tadlas at
or 392-4101 to reserve you a spot for the golf tournament. Remember, we only have room available for 24 golfers.
Akoni’s Bar & Grill
Please join us right after the golf tournament at Akoni’s Bar & Grill located at 565 Kokea St., Honolulu, HI 96817 (click here to see map ). The singing, drinking and friendship will start at 4:30 pm ending when we are done. There will be a cost of $10.00 to cover the “pupus” and the tip (to the house). The “pupu” menu will consist of;
o Fried Chicken o Noodles o Tempura Fries o Boiled Peanuts o Chips & Dip
The owner invited us to bring in our own food as well as long as it is not on their standard menu. So if you would like to cook, share and donate your delicious specialty entrée be our guest. A head count is needed so please contact Raylette (Koki) Dacosin at

We are putting together a golf tournament and karaoke outing for our classmates on (tentative) Friday, November 6th. The round of golf will start around 9:00 am at Pearl Country Club and the Karaoke to follow around 2:30 pm in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center. 4:30 pm at Akoni’s Bar & Grill.
